CLUB HISTORY
Ware and Hertford Rifle Club were until recently two clubs with separate identities although some members were members of both clubs shooting at different venues both locally.
Certain circumstances effected both clubs and it became viable to bring both clubs within the same umbrella as we had so much in common, even to the extent of both with origins dating back to World War 1.
Martin, our secretary, is well known within the shooting world with over 40 years experience as club secretary, nobody has more experience of how to run a good club. He rules with an iron hand mind you but we wouldn't have it any other way!
Our longest serving member has been with the club for nearly 50 years, uses a gun older than himself that was given to him as a young man, doesn't use the recommended clothing or sling and still manages to outshoot most of us!
